Sunday, August 16
  • 9 & 10:30am Worship Gatherings - Sunday’s gatherings will include an intentional time of prayer for the new school year, the final week in the Book of Revelation, and FREE donuts.
  • Kids Ministry - Age-specific programming during both services for infants through 6th grade. This Sunday will include age-appropriate bounce houses.
  • High School Youth Night - 9th-12th grade students will gather from 6-8pm at 13510 Whispering Sage Dr for a back-to-school swim party. (gate code: 4411)
Wednesday, August 19
  • Junior High Youth Night - 7th-8th grade students will gather for Youth Night at 17315 Rosevale Ct from 6:30-8pm.

We want every story to have a great ending, and it's no different with the book of Revelation. Luckily, the ending doesn't disappoint. God's plan was always to dwell with His people - the end of the story is that He will. In the final week of our series in The Book of Revelation, we'll look at the vision John describes, the pattern it reveals, and the invitation we have to be a part of what God is doing.

High School Youth Night | 6-8pm - 9th-12th grade students will gather at 16306 Mesquite Field Drive in Hockley Wednesday, October 14 Junior High Youth Night | 6:30-8pm - 7th-8th grade students will gather at 21910 Sheffield Gray Trail in Cypress Coming Soon: Baptism Sunday November 1 | 10am - Baptism is your first step after committing your life to Jesus and deciding to follow Him. It is an outward, public expression of the inward change you've experienced by receiving the free gift of life through what Jesus did for you. Kids’ Baptism Class | October 25 - This class is designed to help parents and children explore what baptism means and how we celebrate it as a church. It’s a relaxed and welcoming environment where you can ask questions, learn together, and talk openly about faith and next steps. Registration is requested.Upcoming Events This Week’s Sermon “Is Comfort Killing Your Faith?” Esther 3 What if the life you've worked so hard to make comfortable is actually keeping you from the life God created you to live? Most of us work hard to build lives that are safe, predictable, and free from unnecessary risk. But could the comfort we've worked so hard to create actually be holding us back from experiencing more of what God has for us? This Sunday at Church Story, we'll explore a surprising moment in the book of Esther and wrestle with a question worth asking: When was the last time you took a step that actually required you to trust God? You'll discover how to recognize when comfort is quietly weakening your faith and what it looks like to take meaningful steps toward a life of greater courage, purpose, and dependence on God. Current Sermon Series ONE ANOTHER, Prioritizing the Lost Art of Friendship In a culture increasingly marked by isolation and loneliness, Jesus offers a radically different vision for life together. We were created for connection, and the church is meant to be more than an event we attend. It should resemble a family where people commit to one another, care for one another, and refuse to walk away when relationships get difficult. As people who know we are fully loved by Christ, we can take the risk of making room for meaningful relationships, serving others, being vulnerable, and helping build the kind of community we are all searching for.
